The heart behind Misneach.
Hello, and welcome.
I’m Jennie Tipple, founder of Misneach Remedies. Originally from the beautiful County Wicklow in Ireland, I now live with my husband, Harry, our wonderful children, Síofra and Jasper, and our loyal dog, Cara.
Misneach Remedies began with a simple question and a deeply personal experience. My husband, who has asthma, would often experience chest tightness and headaches whenever I burned many of the high street scented candles available on the market. It made me wonder what was really inside the products we were bringing into our home, and whether there was a better way.
That question became a passion.
I set out to create beautiful home fragrances that were natural, affordable, and made with wellbeing in mind—products I could feel confident using with my own family and sharing with yours.
Inspired by nature and my love of essential oils, every Misneach Remedies product is carefully handcrafted to fill your home with beautiful, authentic scents, without artificial fragrances or unnecessary chemicals. My hope is that each candle, diffuser, or room spray encourages you to slow down, take a breath, and create small moments of calm, joy and connection in your everyday life.
The name Misneach is an Irish word meaning courage, inner strength, spirit, and fortitude. It reflects the leap of faith I took in leaving a successful teaching career to follow my dream of building a business rooted in purpose and passion.
Although my career has changed, my love of teaching remains. Today, I share that passion through my candle-pouring workshops, where I love helping others discover the creativity and mindfulness that comes from making something with their own hands.
For me, Misneach Remedies is about so much more than products. It’s about creating meaningful connections, embracing slower living, and bringing warmth, comfort, and intention into the spaces where we spend our lives whilst boosting your wellbeing.
